The firm

In the year 1917, Richard Alfred Hargreaves founded a firm of Chartered Accountants at Lloyd's Chambers, Market Street, in Colne. In 1921 John William Brown and William Benson joined him as partners, and Hargreaves Brown & Benson Chartered Accountants still flourishes today from offices in Bond Street, Colne.

The intention of the original founders was to provide a service for all walks of industry, and we believe our offerings do just that. We pride ourselves on our ability to commit to each and every client: improving your business and personal finances is always our number one objective.
